Weekend Exclusive | "Be happy' is my fitness mantra: Fitness consultant, Vrinda Mehta

The trend of fitness is different today, it's being size zero or having six pack abs but being happy is more important. So to make a place which is not just gym oriented but a place which is about wellness and being fit has been Vrinda Mehta's objective behind opening a fitness zone.

With a strong thought of "be happy', the certified diet and fitness consultant, Vrinda Mehta has opened her wellness zone, "Vibrations.' In an exclusive chat with Adgully, Vrinda Mehta spoke about her fitness techniques and her gym.

"The thought of opening a place wherein you feel happy while exercising led to "Vibrations', a wellness zone wherein the first thing you do when you enter is be happy," says Vrinda. According to her first you should be happy in what so ever you are doing and your routine activities that could be work, your fitness routine etc ,will only fall in place if you are in a happy frame of mind. Vrinda says, "Vibrations is a place which is stress free. It is a complete stress burning place. There are no such workouts which will give you any kind of stress."

She has been carrying out useful programs like manifestation which is to attract whatever you want in your life and is pretty famous among the celebs or may be her clients. She said, "I have used it all my life which led me to what I am. I used to be 93 kilos and I have used this technique to get what I wanted to. Now I am 40 kilos lesser than what I was. I think anybody can achieve what they want."

A strong believer of the fact that the first step towards losing weight and becoming fit is to organize your frame of mind in a positive direction, uses English proverb, "be happy' as her life mantra.

According to her, Surgeries cannot change your entire body but they can only make certain corrections for you. While signing off she happily and admiringly nodded and said, "Eat healthy, have your regular meals at proper timings, avoid over fatty food which I guess everybody knows but don't let it become stressful for you as it will not work. That is why diet does not work after 6 7 months. Exercise and yoga are the biggest stress burner. "

Vrinda has been training many film stars from Sridevi to kajol and to the Bachchans. Happiness has always been the strongest medicine. Staying healthy is as important as staying alive.
