Wizcraft dazzles the world with a showcase of India at the opening ceremony of Hannover Messe 2015

India's leading events and experiential marketing company, Wizcraft International Entertainment, conceptualized, produced & directed the spectacular India showcase at the Opening Ceremony of the HANNOVER MESSE 2015. The Opening Ceremony was held in the presence of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel. The doyens of global industry from India and Germany represented by the CEOs attended the prestigious opening event.

The India Showcase at the Hannover Messe Opening Ceremony invited the world to experience the amazing potential of India. From the power of Yoga to the exquisite grace of Indian classical and folk dances complemented by stunning visuals and beautifully composed music, it was a grand celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage and traditional performing arts. The immersive multi-media presentation was an imaginative synergy of modern technology and choreography. The hi-energy performance was enhanced with vibrant costumes, innovative props and giant puppets.

One of the key highlights of the ceremony was an augmented reality lion integrated in a ‘live’ performance for the first time. The augmented reality lion walked along the aisles and roared in the presence of the Indian Prime Minister, symbolically unleashing the pride and power of new India.  Awash with Indian tricolors, the Opening Ceremony culminated with a grand carnival of Indian performers in the presence of the majestic ‘Make in India’ lion. The august gathering at Hannover Congress Centre was overwhelmed with the stunning performance and several members remarked that this was arguably the most spectacular partner country showcase at Hannover Messe. 

According to the Prime Minister’s official Facebook page, Chancellor Angela Merkel told Prime Minister Narendra Modi, "I've never seen a vibrant show like this. It brought alive India's civilization, culture & technology."
