Yang Comm bags the creative mandate for Red FM

Yang Communications’ Saints and Warriors will now handle the creative duties for India’s leading radio network 93.5 Red FM.

The win was a result of a multi agency pitch, wherein a number of advertising agencies like Lowe Lintas & Partners, Law & Kenneth, DDB Mudra Group and Scarecrow Communications participated.

Red Fm has confirmed the news. Speaking on the development, Nisha Narayanan, Senior VP- Projects and Programming, 93.5 Red FM Network, said “At Red FM, we have always pushed for excellence in creative advertising. Yang Saints and Warriors have delivered some extremely disruptive and sticky advertising for some of the brands they work for. With them coming on board with us as our creative agency, we are looking forward to some exciting work on the brand.”

On winning the account, Pushpinder Singh, Chairman-Saints & Warriors said “This business is important for us on two counts. One, creating an emotional differentiator in the radio space is a creative challenge that is exciting and tough at the same time. Second, this gives us an opportunity to interact with a group that more than matches us at a personal intensity level. Let us hope that makes for a great effort.”

Prior to this, Ogilvy and Mather handled the creative mandate for the radio station since five years.

Red FM has been a brand that people identify with. Yang’s Saints and Warriors appointment is expected to spruce up the creative work of the brand.

Red FM, India’s Largest Radio Network, with 50 stations across India constantly reaches out to the masses with its tagline “Bajaate Raho.”
