Zee Cinema to air Haseena Parkar on this Sunday

Haseena Parkar, the film is a courtroom drama that gives viewers a glimpse into the life of the sister of India's most wanted don, Dawood Ibrahim. The film keeps switching to flashbacks to establish Haseena's character and how she was accused of heading her brother's underworld business in Mumbai. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, while her brother, Siddhanth Kapoor plays Dawood Ibrahim and Ankur Bhatia plays the role of Haseena's husband, Ibrahim Parkar. Zee Cinema - Home of Blockbusters, will air the heart wrenching story of Haseena Parkar on Sunday, 11^th March 2018 at 2:30 PM.

As Haseena’s brother turns into a notorious goon in the underworld, his number of enemies also increase rapidly. One of Dawood’s enemies murders Ibrahim Parkar to dislodge the don’s standing in the world of crime. On the other hand, the 1993 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai send shockwaves across the globe. Haseena’s brother is named as one of the masterminds behind the heinous crime. However, Dawood escapes to Dubai and Haseena falls into trouble. This is when she realizes that she can no longer be a victim – she hits back and arises as ‘aapa’ and takes over the mantle from her brother.

Haseena Parkar (Shraddha Kapoor) visits the court in relation to the 88 cases registered against her for her liaisons with the D-Company and her brother Dawood Ibrahim. However, Haseena claims that she is not included in the process of extortion and shares the story about her whole life; from childhood to middle age, from one of the many children of a modest police constable to a child bride who tragically becomes a widow too soon, becoming a grandmother, a godmother and a suspect in the bomb blasts that rocked Bombay in 1993.
