Zee TV's DID Little Masters records 6.2 TVR: TAM
The TAM ratings for the 18th week have clearly proved that “DID Little Masters” takes the cake when it comes to reality shows; by gaining a 6.2 TVR; something that no reality show has been able to achieve in the recent times.The show initially opened at 5.78 TVR. While reality shows like KBC ,Just Dance and Jhalak Dikhlaja had picked up as they progressed,DID Little Masters has just entered its second week .Also this being the season of IPL,channels are a little hesitant when it comes to launching new shows but Zee has taken the plunge by launching DID Little Masters and is also reaping the rewards of it.This has led to Zee TV now earning the 2nd position this week.Zee TV has managed to grab 239 GRPs this week.(last week 210 GRPs).Thus,DID has been able to garner the interest of audiences;consequently leading to an increase in the viewership of Zee.
The man at the helm of this,Ashish Golwalkar, head of non-fiction programming, Zee TV said, "Last season too,DID opened with similar ratings,somewhere between 6.6 or 6.7 TVR.Infact all the other reality shows of Zee like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs also have achieved great success in this arena.We are very lucky to have amazingly talented kids in the second season of DID Little Masters.We also have a surprise element on the show this season,which would surely interest the viewers.”
Sony Entertainment TV is at the third position in the 18th week of TAM as its GRPs dropped from 240 to 220 this week.Star Plus continues to reign the Hindi entertainment channel genre as it bagged 262 GRPs as compared to 255 GRP’s last week.The daily Diya Aur Bati Hum with a TVR of 5.9 points has enabled Star to retain its number one position.
Colors continues to maintain a consistency with 195 GRPs this week too.Sony Sab noticed a decline in GRPs from 110 last week to 104 this week. Life OK managed to grab 85 GRPs as compared to 83 GRPs in the last week.GRPs of Sahara One decreased from 43 to 41. | By Aditi Popat [aditi(at)adgully.com]
