Zee TV set to bring Jamai Raja home this August!

While it was just a couple of weeks ago that Zee TV announced India’s Best Cinestar Ki Khoj, the talent reality show, the channel is now all set to launch its next fiction show Jamai Raja starring Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma in the lead. The show is produced by Akshay Kumar and Ashwini Yardi’s Grazing Goats Productions and Sagar Art’s Productions and is expected to launch by first week of August 2014. 

Jamai Raja is Grazing Goats’ first television production and will aim to define Jamai (son-in-law) in a new way on Indian TV screens. If rumours are to be believed, the show is said to be based on the lines of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit’s film Jamai Raja that was released in 1990. While Nia Sharma was last seen in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain on Star Plus, Jamai Raja - Ravi Dubey last appeared in Saas Bina Sasuraal on Sony.
