A+E Networks, TV18 join hands to launch new channel in India

As per media reports, A+E Networks has entered into a partnership with TV18 Broadcast to launch its channel – FYI – in India. The two companies already have a joint venture for the History TV18 channel in the country, which was launched over four years ago.

In an announcement made, David Granville-Smith, EVP & CFO, A+E Networks, stated that FYI TV18 would have around 100 hours of original locally produced factual series.

FYI channel covers a range of stories and experiences that reflect how people actually live their lives today, not defined by just one passion or interest.
