ABBYs: The Leo Burnett Group India is Creative Agency of the Year; Famous wins Grand Prix

The 15th edition of Goafest 2022 culminated with the Abby One Show Awards by Meta, powered by Dangal TV. A total of 32 Video Craft ABBYs, 2 Radio Craft ABBYs, 29 Branded Content ABBYs, 13 Brand Activation & Promotion ABBYs, 4 Diversity ABBYs, 17 OOH ABBYs including 1 Grand Prix, 19 Still Print and Still Craft ABBYs, 4 Still Digital ABBYs, 20 Audio Visual TV/Cinema ABBYs, 41 Audio Visual Digital ABBYs, 1 Young ABBY, 2 Red ABBYs, 11 Integrated ABBYs and 3 Green awards ABBYs were awarded to deserving winners amid loud cheers.

Over 3 days, the ABBYs 2022 saw 2 Grand Prix awards being presented. Apart from these, 50 Gold, 130 Silver, 208 Bronze ABBYs and 137 Certificates of Merit were awarded.

On Day 3 of Abby Awards, Famous Innovations secured the sole Grand Prix award in the OOH/ Ambient Media ABBYs for its work titled ‘The Applegram’ done for Radio Zindagi. The agency also won a Gold in this category. The Leo Burnett Group India also won a Gold in OOH. These apart, 3 Silver ABBYs were also awarded in OOH category.

A total of 8 Gold, 7 Silver and 17 Bronze were awarded in the Videocraft category. With a tally of 5 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze, Good Morning Films was adjudged Specialist Agency in Videocraft. Early Man Film won 3 Gold in this category.

The Leo Burnett Group India secured 9 metals in Audio Visual TV/ Cinema ABBYs, which included 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 5 Bronze. Enormous Brands took home 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze. Creative Land Asia won 2 Silver and 2 Bronze.

FCB Group India put up a strong show in the Audio Visual Digital category, securing a total of 8 metals. The agency walked away with 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze. The Leo Burnett Group India, too, scored 8 metals in this category, which included 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze. Enormous Brands bagged 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze.

One Gold, 5 Silver and 7 Bronze ABBYs were awarded in Branded Activation & Promotion category. Famous Innovations won the sole Gold in this category. The Leo Burnett Group India bagged 2 Silver and 5 Bronze. Cheil India and Famous Innovations won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze each in this category.

Branded Content & Entertainment saw Cheil India being declared Specialist Agency in Branded Content. The agency took home 4 Silver and 4 Bronze. There were 3 Gold winners in this category – Enormous Brands, Mindshare, Grey Group and FCB Group, who won 1 Gold each. A total of 10 Silver ABBYs were also awarded in this category.

No Golds were awarded in the Diversity, Equality & Inclusion category. Superfly Films, Grey Group and FCB India scored 1 Silver Abby each.

VMLY&R took home 1 Gold in Green ABBYS for its work titled ‘The Killer Pack’ done for MAXX Flash. Famous Innovations bagged a Silver for its work done for Livpure – titled ‘Cutting Paani’; while the Bronze in this category went to Alok Nanda & Company for its work – ‘Change the Story’ – done for Holcim India, Ambuja, ACC.

In Red ABBYs the sole Gold was awarded to Cheil India for its work done for Mental Health.

Young ABBYs saw only one metal being awarded – a Gold, which was bagged by FCB Group India for its work, titled ‘Can an imaginary girl help real children?’, done for Parle G.

Shaving Stereotypes – Barbershop Girls of India done for Gillette India won Grey India the solitary Gold in Integrated ABBYs. Three Silvers were awarded in this category, which were won by Havas Worldwide India, The Leo Burnett Group India and FCB Group India.

No Golds were awarded in the Still Digital category. Cheil India, The Leo Burnett Group and Havas Worldwide India won a Silver each in this category.

Radio & Radio Craft ABBYs saw Enormous Brands bag a Silver and Eggfirst Advertising & Design winning a Bronze.

Still Print & Print Craft category saw Famous Innovations take home the sole Gold awarded in this category for its work, titled ‘Avoid Humans – Deceit’, done for Tadoba Wildlife Sanctuary & Irai Safari. This apart, 9 Silver ABBYs were also awarded in this category. Famous Innovations secured a majority of the Silvers – 7 in all – while The Leo Burnett Group and Havas Worldwide India won 1 Silver each.
