Abhishek Verma to head marketing at Star

Abhishek Verma has joined Star and has been appointed as the head marketing for Star World and Star Movies. Abhishek will be reporting to Anupam Vasudev, EVP - Marketing, Star India.

Prior to joining Star, Abhishek was marketing head at Neo Sports. Abhishek was responsible for the marketing of all the business verticals for both Neo Cricket and Neo Sports channels. Earlier to Neo Sports, Abhishek was with Sony Entertainment Television as the marketing head of SAB.

Abhishek comes with an experience of 10 years and has worked with Singapore-based CRM consultancy, SurfGold, as Head of Client Services, where he had created loyalty marketing programmes for companies such as Tommy Hilfiger, FedEx, Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard.
