17th September 2012 sees the dawn of a new tabloid from Anandabazar. They have  launched their new tabloid Ebela today. This is the first publication in Bengali  after ABP’s Patrika in 1922.
Ebela aims to target the youth and the content will be a blend of entertainment, news ,current affairs, sports and lifestyle . The 32 page tabloid has a sleek look and is in a easy to carry format. It will also carry the iconic characters of Bengali literature viz. Feluda, Byomkesh Bakshi and Kakababu. The communication for the brand has been focused on a very core thought of ‘Being what I am’.

The promotional activities for the tabloid through print and outdoor communication have been on in the city since a month . A series of three commercials were aired through the television medium and ground activities too were initiated to publicize the tabloid.
