Acer plans to launch 10 handsets in 2010

Acer Smart Handheld Business Group today, revealed its plan to launch 10 new models in 2010. The company is eager to be in the top-5-league in the smartphone segment, in next 3 years.

Acer Smart Handheld Business Group is the mobile devices unit of the Taiwan-based personal computer (PC) maker.

As per media reports, Richard Tan, Country Head (India), Acer Smart Handheld Business Group (SHBG) said, "Last year, we launched about 10 handsets and this year too, we expect to launch about 10 new smartphones...Our vision is to be among the top-5 players in the segment within the next 3 years."
