Ad Stars Awards extends its entry deadline for 2019 till May 31

Bowing to popular request, Ad Stars Awards has extended this year’s entry deadline until Friday, May 31, 2019. This gives agencies, production companies, students and advertising enthusiasts two more weeks to submit their work and compete for US$10,000 cash prizes, which are awarded to the festival’s Grand Prix of the Year winners.

Ad Stars is on a mission to support creators all over the world – whether they are students, start-ups, independent creative shops or multinational networks – with a forum where they can share their work, and inspire the world. As part of this mission, Ad Stars does not charge entry fees for almost all awards categories, creating a level playing field for creators of all shapes and sizes.

“A growing number of people around the world are entering the Ad Stars Awards, and we are humbled by their support. Many people have told us that our industry benefits from having a festival that is open to anyone interested in creativity, which is free to enter. We received over 20,000 entries last year, cementing our position as the biggest global advertising awards platform based in Asia. If you’ve created ground breaking creative ideas, Ad Stars is an opportunity to make your work famous on a global stage,” said Hwan Jin Choi, Chairman of the Ad Stars Executive Committee

Lydia Lee, Assistant Manager at Ad Stars, added here, “We’ve been flooded with requests for more time to enter Ad Stars 2019, so I’m happy to say the deadline has been pushed back until Friday, May 31. If you haven’t entered already, don’t delay!”

Entries are now open in the following categories: Film, Print, Outdoor, Radio & Audio, Design, Interactive, Mobile, Data Insights, Social & Influencer, PR, Promotion, Direct, Media, Integrated, Innovation, and Place Brand. AD STARS is also seeking entries to its PSA (Public Service Advertising) and ‘Video Stars’ categories, including: Branded Information Videos; Branded Entertainment Videos; Branded Viral Videos; Campaign Videos (Case Film); and Non Branded Videos.

“I am really looking forward to judging the 12th Ad Stars Awards. Not only will it be a chance to see the world’s best creative work but I’m curious to experience a global show that is based in North Asia – a region that’s leading the world when it comes to technology and innovation,” said Melvin Mangada, who will lead the Design and Print jury at Ad Stars 2019 as one of five Executive Judges. Mangada is Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer at TBWA/Santiago Mangada Puno.

With the theme ‘Influence’, Ad Stars 2019 takes place at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Centre (Bexco) from August 22 to 24, 2019.
