Ali Asgar & Manasi Parekh to host STAR Plus' Funtakshari!!

The popular TV Star & Comedian Ali Asgar is all set to host the upcoming show on STAR Plus “Funtakshari” along with the channel’s Gulal fame actress Manasi Parekh. The duos have been roped in as hosts for the new show which is going on air shortly. ‘Funtakshari’ will be a mixed bag of music, Bollywood trivia, humour and family time, all rolled into one.

 

Ali has done many hit roles on Indian television and seems to be a perfect choice as he is known for his comic timing, liveliness as well as spontaneity which a good host always need. Commenting on the same, Ali says “I am extremely excited about the show, after a long time I am doing a show with STAR Plus, it’s like returning back home. I love playing a host as its gives me a lot of creative freedom. The show deals with family, it’s all about singing, fun and entertainment. There is a lot to expect from the show and I am positively looking forward for it”

 

While Manasi Parekh Gohil will be accompanying Ali as a co – host on the show, audience will get an opportunity to explore this TV bahu in a new avatar. Manasi says, “Funtakshari will bring together family members and combine the love that India has for music and Bollywood. As music has been always a passion I am happy to get the opportunity to anchor a musical show. Funtakshari is going to be exciting and at the same time will be challenging as I will get to put my musical knowledge to use too.
