Altruist Group (owners of Mobile2win) now attain stake in Vegam Solutions

The Altruist group (owner of Mobile2Win) has taken a minority stake in Vegam solutions. This is in the form of seed capital and aimed at kick-starting the foray of this company into the VAS space. Vegam is a VAS company focussed on voice based gaming and retailing services.

"Vegam Solutions Private Limited" is a new age Telecom Value Added Services company started by Ingersol Jayakumar, former National Business Head for VAS at Tata Teleservices Limited (Tata Indicom). Vegam is started with a hallucination to become a leading Value Added Services company that offers the best and the most innovative products to the global telecom customers.

Rajiv Hiranandani, Executive director of Altruist told Adgully, "Mobile VAS is a dynamic industry and the objective of this investment is also to get more entrepreneurs into the fold thereby keeping up the pace of innovation and new ideas."

Vegam offers voice based gaming services and is working towards launching Voice based gaming service with racing, card games and puzzled based games based at one Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.

Vegam is also working towards launching a retail initiative to sell VAS & all telecom services, across all telecom operators in a single interface. Vegam will use the funds raised to set-up the infrastructure, technical team & build the systems to provide a one-stop solution for all the telecom needs across all VAS verticals such as Voice, SMS, WAP, USSD, etc.
