Anooj Kapoor kick starts bus ride to Film City!

SAB TV, has always aimed to create a bond with their fans and this time round they have come up with a unique and innovative concept to engage with them. Their constant endeavour to bring new experiences has led to an off screen and fresh initiative called ‘SAB Ki Sawaari’. To make their viewers dreams come true, SAB TV has partnered with Bollywood Tourism to allow audiences to connect with their favourite stars. This format launched on July 29, 2013 includes a bus ride into Film City and will enable fans to watch the live shoots of popular SAB TV serials.

Briefing Adgully about this initiative from SAB, Anooj Kapoor, EVP & Business Head, SAB TV said, “We are now providing a platform for actors to engage with their fans and for fans to meet their favourite television actors of the SAB family.  We always innovate our concepts  in terms of finding new ways to interact with our consumers be it our comic books,  board games  or the apps that we have created.”

For the first time viewers will get a once in a lifetime opportunity  to see their favourite stars live in action and also watch shoots, rehearsals, pose and interact with them.

Adding further he said, “We intend giving an opportunity to our consumers to attend the shoots of our shows and interact with their favourite stars on the sets. Fans are curious to learn more about their favourite stars and wish to interact with them. It is difficult for them to single-handedly find a contact who can arrange a trip to Film City and that is how the initiative originated. We decided to do this for them and we are the only channel to come up with this unique concept and offer them this chance.”

SAB TV, considers their fans as an extended part of the SAB family and are keen that they enjoy their experience on the sets.

Bollywood Tourism will be working on commission basis with travel agents and will be issuing B2B mailers.

This unique experience is sure to excite fans and give them an unforgettable experience by bringing smiles and happiness for families across India.  This tour priced at Rs. 2,250 per person includes pick up, drop, food and travelling expenses. Kids get a special discount  and pay only 60% of the original price.  The journey will start from Oberoi Mall, Goregaon (E) and fans will get approximately 6 hours to experience this tour. Presently the tour will be available only on weekends. A guide too has been arranged to accompany them to help them with their queries, show them video clips and apprise them of the story before their arrival on the sets.
