Arnab Goswami all set with his new media venture – Republic

Arnab Goswami, former Editor-in-Chief and President of Times Now, has announced his new media venture – Republic. When contacted, Goswami confirmed the news to Adgully. He, however, refrained from divulging further details on the strategy, partnership or launch date of Republic.

Goswami had quit Times Now on November 1, 2016, after leading the English news channel for 10 years. His show, ‘The News Hour’, was one of the most watched prime time shows on news channels, where his style of interrogative interviewing of the guests was highly popular with the viewers, though often criticised by the industry.

Goswami had started his career with The Telegraph in Kolkata. A year later he moved on to NDTV and formed part of the well known team along with Vikram Chandra and Rajdeep Sardesai.
