AXN brings you Carrie Bradshaw's Sexciting journey right from the beginning

AXN is all set to entertain its viewers with the Iconic show ‘Sex and the City’ celebrating the flavour of the Women’s Day month making it even more special. This multiple Emmy and Golden Globe Award Winning Show starring Sarah Jessica Parker and her friends have entertained the audience across all age groups. This hugely popular franchise, delves into many aspects of life including FRIENDSHIP, SEX LIVES, GOSSIP, FASHION, BREAK-UPS thus making it the mother of all sit coms and a fan favourite.

Set and filmed in New York City, the show traces the journey of four women completely different from each other, yet remain an inseparable bunch of friends spanning over decades.

Adapted from the Candace Bushnell Novel of the same name, the show stars Sarah Jessica Parker as the protagonist Carrie Bradshaw, a columnist with a New York Publication with her column titled as Sex and the City. Carrie’s inseparable friends include the sexy PR professional Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), the elegant art dealer and housewife Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) and the very independent and risky lawyer Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon). The quirky series with its multiple continuing storylines tackles relevant and modern social subjects like sexuality, femininity and modern day relationships with multiple partners through the journey of these four characters amidst their friendship and romantic relationships.

These women are the perfect foils for Carrie’s own neurotic, confused and ever-searching personality. They quickly become best friends despite their dissimilarities, and even more quickly become soul mates. They always listen, rarely judge and never turn their backs on each other. They have set the perfect example of friendship and the show has become the favourite ‘chick series’ as it combines serious matter, hilarious circumstance and New York high fashion.

The first activity conducted on 17th March #CarrieDiaries has been trending for over 8 hours. We asked people to ask for Carrie’s SATC advice on common things like girlfriends, love and relationships. AXN India responded with advice SATC style and interactive memes. A lot of exciting and interactive activities spanning across dating, fashion and the New York lifestyle have been planned to sustain the buzz and promote ‘Sex and the City’ on AXN.
