Basant Dhawan CEO of English Cluster at Network18 calls it quits

Basant Dhawan has stepped down as CEO of English & Business News at Network18. He joined the group in early 2019 and was leading the channels CNN News18, CNBC TV18, CNBC Awaaz and CNBC Bazaar.

Prior to Network18, he was working as SVP & Head Emerging Sports at Star Sports part of Star India Network. Dhawan has previously worked with organisations such as Bharti Airtel, Reliance, Aircel, and Vodafone India (now Vodafone-Idea).  He has more than two decades of experience in senior marketing and business leadership roles.
