Bayer's Saswati Panigrahi joins Castrol India as Head of Communications

Castrol India has appointed Saswati Panigrahi as Head of Communications. She made this announcement via a LinkedIn post.

Before joining Castrol India, Panigrahi was associated with Bayer which is a global enterprise with core competencies in the Life Science fields of health care and agriculture. She joined the company in 2012 as Senior Manager Corporate Communications and last served as Communications Business Partner, Crop Science, SA in 2021. She was associated with Bayer for more than nine years.

"Over the last 9 years, I have had an incredibly rewarding career at Bayer and the opportunity to lead communications for Bayer’s Crop Science business in South Asia. In my role, I got to work on several challenging assignments including shaping the narrative for Bayer’s smallholder farming initiatives, integration of Bayer & Monsanto in India and strengthening financial & investor communications for Bayer CropScience Limited. My work enabled me to collaborate with some of the brightest minds and experts in the Indian & Global Agriculture industry and learn from them.

Looking back, I am filled with gratitude for all the invaluable experiences I have had at Bayer. As I move on to pursue a new chapter in my career, I would like to thank my team members, leaders and managers for their constant support, guidance and inspiration. I take with me warm memories, strong partnerships and sharpened skillsets that I hope to enhance even further.
