BBDO tops India at Spikes Asia 2012

BBDO India converted its 17 shortlisted entries at Spikes Asia 2012 into six metals at the just concluded award ceremony in Singapore. The agency won a Gold, a Silver and four Bronze – making it the No. 1 Creative Agency in India at Spikes Asia with 35 points.
 
P&G Gillette 'Shave Sutra' won the prestigious 'Creative Effectiveness' award for Mach 3 Turbo Sensitive (One of the only three awarded in this category). Once again a powerful demonstration that creativity and effectiveness go hand in hand.  Gillette's ‘You Shave, I Shave’ for Gillette Fusion won one Silver in the media category and a Bronze in the PR category.
 
Gillette's ‘The Everyday Soldier Movement’ for Gillette Mach 3 won one Bronze in media and another Bronze in PR. P&G Gillette brands picked up 5 metals, a record haul at Spikes Asia 2012. BBDO India also won a Bronze for the non-stop 72 hour ‘tweet-a-thon’ idea in the social media category - which was part of the launch of 7 Up’s ‘I Feel Up’
 
Following closely is Taproot India with 27 points. Taproot won two Silvers and Three bronze. Taproot also secured second place in the 'Independent Agency of the Year' category.
 
At third place is Mindshare India with 20 points. Mindshare won the Grand Prix for Unilever’s Kissan, and also a Gold for the same work.
