Bigg Boss continues to be the most popular TV show: What's On India TV Trend

What's-On-India, India's premier Electronic Program Guide (EPG) and TV Search Company, has released  their What's On India TV Trends - Weekly Trending Programs list for Week 45 viz. for the week 4th November to 10th November 2012.

The trends for week 45 indicates that Salman Khan and Harry Potter along with  popular show  Bigg Boss  are in the top position this week.

Bigg Boss on Colors anchored by Salman Khan is still the most popular Hindi TV show. It is closely followed by Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon in the second spot. In week 45 two shows have made a comeback. They are Balika Vadhu in the third place and Kaun Banega Crorepati in the fourth place respectively. Popular show Bade Acche Lagte Hain dipped two places and is now currently in the fifth place .

In the Hindi Movies category two of Salman Khan starrers are presently among the top five in the list. ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ on Sony has taken the first place and ‘Wanted’ is now in third place . This brings Singham to the second spot and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in the fourth spot in Week 45. There is a new entrant this week. It is Rani Mukherjee’s Aiyya on Colors which is now in the fifth place.

In English TV shows category two popular shows Two and a Half Men and Grey’s Anatomy continue to be in the first and second place respectively. The other shows that are dominating in this category are the new entries. Mike and Molly is in the 3rd spot, Body of Proof in the 4th and Top 20 Countdown is in the 5th spot presently as per trends of week 45 

In English Movies category, Potter mania rules. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is at the top. ‘Taken’ is in the second spot followed by The Hangover Part II  in third place . With 2012 in the fourth spot and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in the fifth place this completes the top 5 list for this category.

England’s Barclay’s Premier League 2012/13 a Live Football action show is the most popular  in the Sports category. Match day 4 in UEFA Champions League 2012/13 is in the 3rd spot whereas Spanish Liga BBVA 2012/13 has climbed its way to the 4th position. In the second position is WWE Specials and FIA F1 World C'ship 2012 in the 5th position. This completes the sport category list for week 45.

In the Kids, Documentaries, Lifestyle & Food category  no change is seen this week .since Doraemon  & Hungama, continue to lead in the top two positions and personal technology show, Tech Guru (CNBC Awaaz) still follows them in hot pursuit to be in the third place . Be Blunt with Adhuna Akthar (TLC) is in the 4th spot followed by the popular documentary, Steve Jobs Billion Dollar Hippy, taking the 5th place in  this category.

In the Regional TV shows category Choopulu Kalisina Shubhavela (MAA TV) continues to rule and is closely followed by Pellinati Pramanalu on Zee Telugu and Kumkumapoovu on Asianet . Among Regional Movies Leelai on Kalainagar TV has proved to be the most popular and  Michael Madana Jama Rajan on Jaya TV is presently in the 2nd position as per the weekly trending programmes list for week 45.
