Bite appoints four new digital strategists across Asia Pacific

Bite, a global marketing services agency, today announced the appointment of four new digital strategists across Asia Pacific to enhance Bite's ability to deliver digital and mobile solutions for clients. The newly created positions build on Bite's initiatives to deliver a complete line of marketing services globally, which include strategy and insight, public relations, marketing communications, creative and content, and digital and technology products and services.

The new hires join a team of 20 dedicated digital and social experts in the Asia Pacific region and more than 100 worldwide. Bite recently merged with Bourne, the fast-growing UK-based creative digital marketing agency with offices in Glasgow and New York, and in recent years has acquired digital marketing, search and web development teams in Asia Pacific.
The new positions include:

  • Senior Director, Digital Strategy: Anthony Tartaglia joins Bite in Hong Kong to provide clients with senior counsel on digital and mobile campaigns, as well as to lead and develop Bite's capabilities.  Tartaglia has relocated from Shanghai, and has a 15 year track record spanning mobile and web marketing, and consumer, B2B and healthcare experience.  In addition to work with global brands and agencies, he also was instrumental in the entrepreneurial growth of Shanghai's 21 Communications.
  • Director, Digital Strategy: Deepali Dabral is based in Hong Kong, working with the Bite marketing and content team to integrate social into every campaign locally and region wide.  Dee is a proven communications professional with over six years experience with top tier creative agencies across Australia, China, Singapore and North America.  She leads digital projects from conception to completion, and has experience in the automotive, telecommunications and FMGC sectors.
  • Director, Digital Strategy: James Huang manages digital programs for clients across China and is based in Shanghai. James has six years of digital agency and in-house experience in Asia and Europe.
  • Director, Digital Strategy: Based in New Delhi, Vishal Mehra brings seven years of experience in online advertising, mobile & integrated media to Bite India.  He was previously with SPIIDER Digital Hub, and will integrate digital marketing and social media into client campaigns, and build the agency's capabilities in India.

The new hires are part of Bite's overall development strategy that includes making selective acquisitions, and adopting technology such as Marin search Software for online advertising and Alterian's SM2 for social media intelligence.
