BNHS in association with Hot Stuffs fight plastic menace

Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) in association with Hot Stuffs, has launched a campaign of promoting eco-friendly use of stainless steel water bottles through a campaign 'Refuse Sinqle Use' that will encourage lesser use of plastics, especially with regard to packaged water plastic bottles and disposable cups and tumblers.  

This initiative will be carried out throughout the year through various outreach programmes in corporate, schools, colleges, malls, community spaces, societies and so on. 

To ensure the continuity of its contribution to the cause of conservation, BNHS invites support from all those who care to make a better world for all living beings, including mankind. There is a special range of products (Stainless steel bottles, mugs & tumblers) under the theme "Refuse Single Use" and' Hot Stuffs contributes Rs. 20/- - to BNHS for every product sold under this range for nature conservation. 

Earlier the two organizations had organized an Awareness drive titled 'Draw to Save Your Planet' in schools to spread the message that "Most plastic bottles take hundreds of years to decompose", and that in itself is posing to be one of the biggest threats to the future of our planet. The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from across 50 schools, reaching out to about 35000 students.
