BQ Prime to be rebranded as NDTV Profit

The BQ Prime channel is poised for a relaunch with a new identity, NDTV Profit, sources close to this development informed Adgully. The rebranded channel is expected to make its debut on December 8. Initially, there were speculations that NDTV Profit would be reintroduced on November 29 under the supervision of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Previously under the ownership of Quintillion Business Media, BQ Prime was acquired by the Adani Group last year. NDTV Profit ceased operations on June 5, 2018, due to substantial financial losses when it was owned by Prannoy Roy.
