Cannes Lions 2012: Leo Burnett bags a bronze Lion in Radio

Leo Burnett is ruling the Cannes scene as it won a bronze lion in the Radio Lions category, it being the only award in the category out of the two Indian shortlists. The agency received the metal for Strand Bookstore’s ‘Punishment’ campaign. The other entry that was nominated in the category was McCann India’s ‘Lasky Herbal’ campaign for Plus Condoms.

Leo Burnett’s campaign focused on the importance of reading as a habit. It revolved around the idea that books are the best conversations that one can have.

The Grand Prix campaign in the category was awarded to Talent Sau Paulo for his entry titled ‘Repellent Radio.’
