Chimp&z curates social media campaign #UnitedByDance for Tata Sky

To commemorate International Dance Day, Chimp&z Inc curated a social media campaign #UnitedByDance for Tata Sky, India’s leading content distribution and Pay TV platform. Kick-started by Bollywood's dance icon Madhuri Dixit, the campaign created a cheerful dance anthem amidst the lockdown with #UnitedByDance, bringing dancers from across the country together to share their best moves. The winners were featured on Tata Sky Dance Studio (Channel No. 123) and the brand’s social media pages.

Madhuri Dixit shared a video post on her Instagram account, inviting dancers from across the country to unite with dance in times of social distancing and to become a part of the ultimate dance anthem. The campaign received an enthusiastic participation from dance superstars with over 2000+ entries from 23rd April to 1st May. The anthem aimed to keep the spirits high during the lockdown days using the medium of dance.

People had to share their dance clips on social media by tagging @tataskyofficial and using #UnitedByDance. The winners were featured on Tata Sky Dance Studio (Channel No. 123) and the brand’s social media pages.

On the success of the campaign, Lavinn Rajpal, Managing Director, Chimp&z Inc said, “The campaign was an overwhelming success! We had a simple objective of ‘uniting the nation through dance’. Since the extension of the lockdown is taking a toll on people, we wanted to put our best foot forward to help them realize the power of dance on this International Dance Day.
