TCS promotes Ashish Babu to Global Chief Marketing Officer

Ashish Babu, a seasoned professional with nearly 16 years of experience at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has been elevated to the role of Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Global Markets. Babu, who previously spearheaded TCS' marketing efforts in Europe and the UK as Chief Marketing Officer, will now lead strategic initiatives across a diverse range of markets including North America, Europe, UK, MEA, Latam, Japan, ANZ, and APAC.

In his new capacity, Babu will focus on driving TCS' brand presence, reputation, and growth trajectory across these critical markets. He brings with him a wealth of experience garnered from his tenure at TCS, where he held various roles including Head of Communications in India and Interim Brand Director for Europe, among others.

Babu's journey at TCS reflects a trajectory of growth and leadership, underscored by his dynamic contributions to the company's marketing endeavors. Prior to joining TCS, Babu honed his skills at renowned organizations such as Genesis Burson Marsteller, Hanmer MSL, Weber Shandwick, and Tata Sky, where he demonstrated a keen understanding of communications and brand management.

Commenting on his new role, Babu expressed his excitement, stating, "I'll be leading strategic initiatives across diverse global markets to drive TCS' brand, reputation, and growth. I am eager to collaborate with the incredible team and report to TCS' Global CMO, Abhinav Kumar."
This announcement comes on the heels of a recent leadership rejig at TCS in 2023, wherein Abhinav Kumar assumed the role of Global Chief Marketing Officer.
