Chumbak's new collection draws inspiration from this unique art form, infusing it with the brand's signature style to create an vibrant artsy range of products. Speaking on the launch of the new collection, Shubhra Chadha, Co-founder, Chumbak, said, "Our illustration style is influenced by the intricate patterns and vibrant colours of Madhubani art, blended with cultural Indian cues. With this collection, our aim was to keep it bold, bright, artsy and we hope our consumer loves it as much as we do.”
The collection features an array of folksy motifs inspired by the everyday rituals of Indian life, reflecting the essence of temple décor with the sun and ornate nandi motif, flower lady vendors adorning the streets, and the daily scene of grocery runs in lungis. Each product is meticulously handcrafted, embracing traditional techniques and adorned with embellishments such as mirrors, pom poms, tassels, and beads to add a festive touch.
 
The thoughtfully designed assortment includes cushions, steelware, trays, and a wall plate, each beautifully adorned with intricate Madhubani-inspired illustrations.
 
"We take immense pride in collaborating with artisans from different regions of India to bring this collection to life. The hand-painted steelware is meticulously crafted with precision in Kashmir, while the cushions are created by skilled artisans in Karur," added Shubhra.
