Cloud 9 forays into Beverage and Mineral Water Segment

Goldwin Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., the manufacturers of India's First Natural Energy Drink, Cloud 9, is all set to launch an array of new products for the Indian consumer in a variety of different segments. Goldwin Healthcare is all set to launch an array of products over the coming year.

The products launches include a Caffeine-free Cloud 9 Cola, Natural Juices, Tonic Water, Flavoured Mineral Water, Soda and an Aloe Vera Juice. All these products are said to be 100 per cent natural and devoid of any harmful ingredients. The group has always use this as their biggest USP of products and founding principles.

"The company will be launching the soft drinks and soda product in tin cans of 200, 330 and 500 ml. The Mineral water product will be positioned in the premium segment. The company will enter the Juice segment with the apple, mango, orange and lemon flavours," informed Jayesh R. Joshi, Group CEO, Goldwin Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. Furthermore he said, "The Company will also launch a specialized product of Aloe Vera Juice, which is especially beneficial for women and children, this product will be the first of its kind in India." The products will be manufactured at the company's state-of-the art facility in Nandur, 40 km from Pune (Maharashtra), spread across 27 acres.

The Indian market in beverage and mineral water segment is currently dominated by well established multinational giants who run a monopoly in the segment, where an Indian presence is at a minimum.

All the new products will be launched under the Cloud 9 brand and will be rolled out in a phase-wise manner at a pan-India level starting with Mumbai in March, 2010. Cloud 9 is also positioning itself to launch its products internationally. Soon the company will launch its product internationally into the South Asian Subcontinent, Europe and the GCC Countries.
