Content creators took social media to upskill their followers

If you’ve had enough of Netflix and read all your magazines, it might be time to up your skills on social media. We know social distancing is mandatory these days, and those looking to connect with others during the COVID-19 pandemic are turning to social media sites.

We observed that people are starting most of their time on social media either for work or learning new skills. To grab this opportunity, NOFILTR Group initiated social media campaign #Homeschooled - an interactive live series where the audiences/followers can learn various new skills within their homes from their favorite content creators online. The prime goal of the campaign was to give a chance to the community to learn something new during this lockdown period and hone a unique skill. Simultaneously, it also gave content creators a way to create more content within their house.

#Homeschooled campaign was held for five days where eleven content creators from NOFILTR such as Mrunal Panchal who recently verified on Instagram and reached 2M followers gave makeup tutorials and other conducted tutorials on an array of verticals like makeup, cooking, dancing, bhangra, Garba, magic tricks, self-portraits, styling, and fitness. The total views resulted in 928.9k and 98.9k reach.

#Homeschooled was conceptualized on a simple idea to educate the audience and at the same time to keep them entertained while building up the strong IG community. Through this campaign, influencers started re-inventing the strategies for content creation and came up with new creative ideas from new makeup tutorials to DIYs.
