Creative Abby 2011 shortlisted entries announced

The Ad Clud Of Bombay announced the shortlisted entries for the Creative ABBY 2011 in the three categories -- Film, Print and Interactive Digital Advertising. The film, print and interactive digital categories have around 105, 281 and 64 shortlisted entries respectively.

Ogilvy India leads with 34 shortlisted entries in the film category. The agency has some of its very well-known work like Vodafone (BlackBerry Boys, Vodafone Delights and the Zoozoo - Job Alerts, News Alerts, Flight Schedules and Train Schedules), Aegon Religare Life Insurance, adidas, the shadow campaign for Madhya Pradesh Tourism, and the Human Train campaign for the Indian Railways amongst the shortlisted entries.

JWT India's the Airtel Mobile re-branding campaign, Airtel DTH's regional language pack campaign, and the Squirrels commercial for Kit Kat are amongst the agency's 12 shortlisted entires.

Creativeland Asia at number three has nine shortlisted entries which includes campaigns like Frooti (Mango Surprise), the Aborigine campaign for LMN and the Fight Hunger, Fight Evil film for Hippo Baked Munchies feature among the shortlists.

McCann Erickson's has around eight shortlisted entries, while Bates 141 has six shortlisted entries.

Followed by Contract Advertising, Mudra and DraftFCB Ulka with five shortlisted entries each. Whereas Leo Burnett and Capital Advertising have four shortlists each and RK Swamy BBDO, ideas@work and Meridian have three shortlisted entries each. Grey has two shortlists while Rediffusion Y&R and Stark Communications have one entry shortlisted each.

Mudra has the maximum number of shorlists in the print category, the agency has around 83 entries which includes campaign like Volkswagen, The Economic Times, Union Bank of India, Lonely Planet Magazine, Moov, and Electrolux among others.

Ogilvy India is next with 34 shortlisted entries that includes Vodafone (Sanctuary Sinful Collection, Sanctuary Magic Beans), Pictionary campaign for Mattel Toys, Sour Marbels, and Pond's, among others. McCann Erickson is next with 24 shortlists which include campaigns such as Luminaries for Happydent, Shelves for Videocon, Amber Cigarette, and Amber fish for Chloromint, and Saffola Life's Times of India 'Young@Heart' innovation.

JWT India, Bates 141, Out of the Box, Grey, Contract Advertising and Euro RSCG have 20, 17, 12, 10, 9 and 7shortlisted entries respectively. Followed by ideas@work and Rediffusion with six shortlisted entries each. Umbrella Design and Alok Nanda and Company Communication have four shortlists each whereas ELEVEN Brandworks has three shortlisted entries. RK Swamy BBDO and The Communications Central have been able to have two of its entries shortlisted in this category. Crayons Advertising, Goldmine Advertising and AMO Communications have an shortlisted entry each.

Though TapRoot India has decided to stay away from Goafest this year, the agency's campaign for The Times of India 'Aman Ki Asha' campaign finds a place in the category submitted by Bennett, Coleman & Co,

In the Integrated Digital Advertising category, Webchutney has eight shortlists which includes Samsung Frrunch, MakeMyTrip.com (Amar Prem), Bharat Matrimony (Biwi Ho To Aisi), Airtel (Songcatcher Banner and Songcatcher Viral), and Saffola (Young at Heart application).

Mudra has seven shortlisted entries whereas Hungama Digital Media has around six shortlisted entries.

Interface Communications has five shortlisted entries in the category for campaigns like Mahindra Blues (www.mahindrablues.com), Tata Docomo (Tata Docomo 3G Life - The Day the Web got 3x slow and The Day YouTube got real slow, and Tata Docomo - a million fans monetised), and Kamasutra (Lounge).

The other agencies among the shortlisted entries in the category include JWT India (four entries), BC Web Wise (four entries), Law & Kenneth Digital (three entries), Interface Business Solutions (three entries), Interactive Avenues (two entries), D'Zine Garage (two entries), Ogilvyone Worldwide (two entries), Indigo Consulting (two entries), UFO Digital (two entries), Mindshare (two entries), Maxus India (one entry), Quasar Media (one entry), Jack In The Box (one entry), Pinstorm (one entry), Resultrix (one entry), and Grandmother India Design (one entry).
