DD amped up its telecast to provide a technically brilliant feed

Doordarshan - world’s biggest and longest live production has evolved over the decades starting with the first live telecast in 1981 in black and white and subsequently in colour with a handful of cameras.

With the scale of live production had 48 cameras from Rashtrapati Bhavan to National War Memorial all along Rajpath and atop India Gate. New Innovations this year included a Mobile Buggy Camera, Robotic camera apart from 360 degree view. It was a sign of how the Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar Vempati is pleased as punch. 

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, this year, too, DD amped up its telecast to provide a technically brilliant feed.
