Dell (India) offers discount coupons to users to recycle PCs!

Dell ' the world's second largest PC maker, announced that it will offer discount coupons to consumers who will bring their old Dell PCs to the company for recycling.

Dell Inc - is a multinational information technology corporation that develops, sells and supports computers and related products and services, as a merchant.

The coupon for Rs 1000 rupee ($22) on each PC can be used by the consumer to get a discount toward the purchase of any Dell hardware directly from the company.

Also, the company's free recycling program for consumers in India has also been extended to include PCs from any vendor, provided the customer is interested in buying a PC from Dell.

However, the incentive would be attractive only to people who have PCs that are about 5 years old. For PCs that are 2-3 years old the consumers would expect a lot more than Rs 1000 rupee.
