Dentsu Aegis Network's psLive Rural bags Gold at RMAI Awards

psLive Rural, the rural marketing division from the Dentsu Aegis Network, was conferred with 3 awards at the 6th edition of “Flame Awards 2014”, organized by RMAI (Rural Marketing Association of India).

While it won a Gold for the campaign ‘Jaagte Mat Raho’ (client: Cholayil) for the soap brand - Medimix, its work for DuPont’s Coragen brought home a silver (for its Sweetness of Victory campaign) and a bronze metal (for its Kori Se Mulaqat campaign), respectively.

The categories for which psLive Rural won the awards included ‘Small Budget campaign of the year’ (Jaagte Mat Raho, Gold), ‘Agriculture / Dairy initiative of the year’ (Sweetness of Victory, Silver) and ‘Use of technology -campaign of the year’ (Kori se Mulaqat, Bronze).

For the record, RMAI Flame is the only platform in the country to recognize the best works in rural communication and rural marketing initiatives.

This year, RMAI received as many as 300 entries from top corporates and rural marketing agencies for the Awards. The entries were judged by high profile jury that comprised the likes of Harish Bijoor - Strategy Specialist &CEO, Harish Bijoor Consults, Punit Chadha – GM Rural Marketing, Maruti Suzuki India, Salil Dalal – Head Rurban, Pidilite, Rajan Aggarwal – Head Crop Solutions & Application Marketing, Escorts, Suban Walia – GM Customer Marketing, Pepsico, Vijay Sharma – GSK Consumer Health Care and Mithileshwar Jha – Prof of Marketing, IIM Bangalore.  It was chaired by S Sivakumar, Chief Executive, ITC (ABD) while Govindraj Ethiraj CEO & Founder - Ping Digital and also the former - Founder & Editor in Chief Bloomberg TV India, was the Committee Chairperson for the Awards.
