Ashish Bhasin resigns from BARC’s Board of Directors & Audit Committee

Ashish Bhasin, CEO, APAC and Chairman India, dentsu International, has resigned from the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC India), Sources confirmed to Adgully.

In his letter to BARC, Bhasin conveyed his decision citing his other preoccupation, commitment and personal reasons.

In his role, Bhasin was heading the Audit Committee that focused on internal investigation following the allegations of corruption at BARC India.

BARC has been facing allegations and has been in controversies since last year. A few days back, Sunil Lulla, CEO, BARC India stepped down from the agency and Nakul Chopra was appointed as the new CEO.
