Disney+ Hotstar's Shweta Poojari joins Netflix

Former Head, Public Relations and Publicity, at Hotstar, Shweta Poojari has joined Netflix as Head of Communications.

Previously she served in Publicity, Netflix Originals. She started her career as an Image Executive at Buzz PR, and later went onto become the Associate PR Manager at the Good Relations India. She also worked as the Senior Manager at LINOpinion, The Lowe Lintas Public Relations Division and assumed the role of the Consumer Practice Lead at Avian Media. She was associated with Sony PIX and AXN India as the Manager, Public Relations. She worked in the Public Relations and Media Associations department of Sony Pictures Entertainment and as the General Manager and Lead, Corporate Communications at Inox Leisure Limited. She is an alumnus of Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India.
