Disprz ropes in Sabari Viswanathan as CTO-in-Residence

Artificial intelligence powered skilling platform Disprz has announced the appointment of Sabari as the new CTO-In- Residence. Sabari has been working as the Founding Shareholder of Disprz and offering expert advice to Disprz since its inception days. This part-time advisory role has now been changed into a full-time role, which will be a value-added advantage to the company and will help Disprz to achieve newer heights.

Sabari studied B. Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT-Madras and Masters in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the prestigious University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in the US. Besides that, he has published a paper in Nature, which is the most reputed research journal in the academic world.

Sabari’s ideal way of working is to take a pragmatic approach on the software development with commitment to perfect code quality on ultra-compact timelines. His knowledge on test-driven development, automation etc are proven to be an asset to companies which he has worked with.

Sabari currently lives in Pennsylvania and has spent over 20 years in enterprise software across the width of the US across early stage, growth stage and post-IPO companies, including Siebel (the CRM giant before and after its acquisition by Oracle), Zoom Systems (automated retail), C3 (sustainability tech), Arris (media tech), Cvent (events platform that runs Google and AWS conferences) and Vertex (tax software).

Apart from his work experience, he has also many personal interests, such as playing tennis where he won many amateur tournaments in the Bay Area. He is also an audiophile with a great taste for music analysis and is proud of his collection of headphones. Sabari is a big environment and sustainability advocate and lover of nature - he has also driven green initiatives in several of his companies, including making offices paperless and plastic-free.

Sabari’s new role will empower Disprz to achieve a new dimension of success in the future. His depth of knowledge in software development and his experiences over years in corporate world will help Disprz to achieve next level as a SaaS company.
