DSP BlackRock's creative business goes to Lowe Lintas and Taproot India

Lowe Lintas and Taproot India have been appointed by DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund to take care of its creative business. The creative communication was earlier handled by JWT India which shared a long standing relationship with the brand since 1996. The business is estimated to be in the range of Rs15-20 crore.

The brand had invited quite a few agencies for the pitch and asked them to present their understanding of the challenges to the brand, of the market and category and how could the company expand it. After a lot of deliberation Lowe Lintas and Taproot India were selected to partner in the creative mandate for the brand. The brand has reportedly cut ties with JWT so as to explore better communication platforms and opportunities. The company further plans to reposition the brand and will explore communication media like print, TVC, OOH, BTL, ATL and digital.
