Edelweiss MF celebrates the spirit of fatherhood with a Digital Film

Edelweiss Mutual Fund, one of India’s fastest-growing AMCs, released an encouraging digital film titled ‘Chhoti chhoti kishton ne, Seench liya aaj rishton ko’ on the occasion of Father’s Day (June 18th, 2023). This digital film beautifully captures the essence of the special bond between a grandfather and his grandson and aims to convey a clear message about empowering fathers’ to lead a financially independent and purposeful retired life.

The film portrays a middle-class household where a young couple visits the village with their five-year-old child to spend their summer vacation with the boy's grandfather. As they prepare to leave, the couple seeks the old man's blessings, touching his feet in a traditional gesture. A tender moment ensues as the young boy lovingly embraces his grandfather.

In a heartwarming twist, the elderly gentleman graciously declines the couple's modest monetary gesture and pleasantly surprises them by presenting their son higher monetary present with heartfelt wishes. The couple witnesses this act of generosity, deeply moved by the emotions unfolding before them. The film is accompanied by a melodious jingle that heightens the emotional impact of the scene.

Speaking about the campaign, Niranjan Avasthi, SVP and Head-Product, Marketing & Digital, Edelweiss AMC said, “Our special film on this Father's Day embodies the essence of Edelweiss Mutual Fund: fostering meaningful connections and empowering individuals to live purposefully. For countless years, mutual funds have been instrumental in helping investors accumulate wealth and provide a secure foundation for their retirement. By embracing systematic investment plans (SIPs) to plan for retirement, one can ensure a gratifying and self-directed life beyond their working years.”
