Elon Musk unveils major Twitter rebranding: "X" new name and logo

Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur, has announced a significant change in Twitter's branding. The microblogging site will now be known as "X," bidding farewell to the old name, Twitter, and its iconic bird logo. Additionally, Twitter's parent company will be called "X Corp," which is a wholly owned subsidiary of "X Holdings Corp," both of which are now under Musk's ownership.

In a tweet, Musk stated that the rebranding is meant to embrace the imperfections that make us all unique. Shortly after, he shared a brief video where the well-known blue bird logo gradually transforms into a glowing, bright 'X.' This move represents Musk's vision to develop a 'super app,' similar to China's WeChat.

Interestingly, this change comes just days after Meta launched Threads, showcasing the intense competition among tech giants vying for dominance in the digital landscape.
