Expect the unexpected from Aarya 3 : Sushmita Sen

The tigress is back with season 3 of Aarya! Starring Sushmita Sen in the lead role, the series also has Sikandar Kher and Vikas Kumar. This season we will see two new entrants - Ila Arun and Indraneil Sengupta both of whom will be seen in important roles. Speaking about Aarya 3 Sushmita says,”My 8 year long hiatus came to an end with Aarya and I want to thank to the wonderful team of the series. The team excited me to wake up every morning and do something new on the set. Expect the unexpected from Aarya 3. People used to complain in season 2 that why Aarya has not turned into a don, so this is the season when a woman is unapologetic, she has nothing more to lose and that’s the most dangerous phase.”

Sushmita, who is going to enter her 30th year in the industry has immense gratitude for her audience. She says, "I was 18 years old when I was made to stand on a stage like this and for the first time and created an identity for my people, my country and myself. After 30 years of that, whatever I have done in life, my people have supported me. It's such a big thing that in a competitive industry, I left work for 8 years in my prime time, I have been welcomed back with so much love. Why? Because my audience is great. And as long as they want to see me, nobody can harm me.”

About her graceful second innings which started in 2020 Sen adds,”I have a long list of things that I want to do. I want to do a mature love story, a kickass action film, which no one has done, and play the worst…most dangerous antagonist you have ever seen. This is just the beginning. This year, I got to do two wonderful projects, and I am very grateful for that. I hope this trend continues and allows me to do more interesting work.” The series will premiere on Disney Hotstar from 3rd November.
