FTI Consulting expands Strategic Communications Segment in India with 2 senior hires

FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organisations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced the appointments of Pushpendra Dhansoia and Saurabh Joshi, who join the firm as Senior Directors in its Strategic Communications segment in India. Mr. Dhansoia is based in Mumbai and Mr. Joshi is based in New Delhi, and both report to Amrit Singh Deo, Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment in India.

Dhansoia has close to 20 years of experience in developing and implementing strategic corporate reputation programmes for leading corporations operating in India including: Indian business houses Tata Group and GVK Group; global technology players Intel Corporation; Infosys; Wipro; HTC; SAP; Hutchison Essar; and the Harvard Business School in India. Mr. Dhansoia combines his client-side experience working for organisations such as Manipal Education and Medical Group and Tata Press Yellow Pages with his agency-side experience. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Dhansoia was responsible for leading the regional offices of Ogilvy Public Relations in West and South India. In his new role at FTI Consulting, Mr. Dhansoia will focus on Corporate and Financial Communications.

Joshi has over 14 years of experience in government relations, public policy advocacy and regulatory matters. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Joshi was part of the in-house government relations team at Accenture India leading engagements with multiple central and state government ministries on behalf of Accenture, namely the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Communications & Information technology, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Railways. Prior to Accenture, Mr. Joshi worked for Ericsson and Marconi in India.   Mr. Joshi combines business development skills, selling telecom and technology solutions to government-owned enterprises with his government relations expertise. In his new role at FTI Consulting, Mr. Joshi will focus on expanding the Public Affairs practice in India.
