Zee TV is all geared up to take the nation by storm with melody, rhythm and rhapsody. Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa ' the Mecca of soulful singing is back in a new avatar! Called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar this season, it will be an embodiment of its mother brand but with an aim to give the country its very own singing icon ' a Singing Superstar ' who has a voice that we can proudly say is "Music Ki Nayee Awaaz.' Premiering on August 13, 2010, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will retain the quality singing it represents, but will have an entirely new, young and contemporary look and feel.

After rigorous auditions across all major cities in India ( Indore, Bangalore, Guwahati, Bhubaneshwar, Baroda, Kolkata, Nagpur, Mumbai, Jalandhar, Lucknow, Jaipur and Delhi) and abroad (Dubai, New York, London, Australia, Bangaldesh and Pakistan) , 18 strong contenders have been chosen to compete against each other for the coveted title of Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar.
