Hindustan Times celebrates the launch of Gurgaon paper

To celebrate the launch of a special newspaper for Gurgaon, Hindustan Times is all set to organize the biggest ever cultural extravaganza- the "Hindustan times Gurgaon First Festival', for the residents of Gurgaon. The long festival is being organized from 16th July'10 to 1st Aug'10 and will be held at Epicenter and Gurgaon Gymkhana.

The event will bring together some of the legendary names from the fields ofdance, music, theatre and film. Renowned actor and theatre person Anupam Kher will present an autobiographical play, "Kuch bhi ho Sakta Hai', while national award winner Rajit Kapoor- best known for his role as detective Byomkesh Bakshi in 1980's- will perform in the play "Love Letters'.

Music enthusiasts can catch performances by Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, Sarangi Maetso Kamal Sabri, Carnatic singer U Rajesh, Shubha Mudgal and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will be attending the festival for a chat session along with the screening of his movie Dev D. Accomplished Kuchipudi and Bharatnatyam dancer, Mallika Sarabhai, will also be performing at the festival.
