HISTORY TV18 showcases the grandeur of the Gateway of India

On 24th January 2014, the iconic Gateway of India’s lights dazzled the Mumbai city skyline with a vibrant, celebratory lighting makeover.Taking forward the historic initiative by MTDC and Philips, HISTORY TV18 takes viewers though the structural and historical importance with a special episode, ‘Mumbai in a New Light’. The show 

‘Mumbai in a New Light’ gives viewers a rare insight into what went into the making of this historical monument with interesting anecdotes from the great grandson of the builder of the Gateway. The show also features never before seen footage of events that have taken place at this historic location. With celebrities like Siddharth Malhotra, Abhay Deol, Parineeti Chopra amongst others sharing their memories about this 85 feet tall structure, the half hour show truly reflects spirit of Mumbai.
