HomeShop18 awarded the Star Retailer Award'10 for its innovations in retail

HomeShop18 India's first and leading home shopping channel continues to receive awards and recognitions from various industry forums for their spectacular contribution to the retail industry. A pioneer of the home shopping space in India, HomeShop18 has been awarded the Star Retailer Award 2010 for being the Most Innovative Retailer of the Year by Franchise India at a star studded ceremony in New Delhi.

The Star Retailer Awards 2010, in their 5th year, recognized the innovation in products, new concepts and services delivered by retailers all round the year. Over the years these awards have set benchmarks for excellence in modern retailing and the winners have become the inspiration and direction for the industry. The Award winners were decided after a Public Survey conducted for shortlisted nominees in each category. The votes of the survey were tabulated by Ernst and Young.

These awards spotlight the growing impact of retail in Indian lives; showcasing the diversity within the industry, recognizing and rewarding the entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen which lies behind flourishing retailers mapping India.
