Honda India inaugurates Honda Samajik Vikas Kendra

Taking a giant leap in its endeavor to build an enriched community, Honda India Foundation (HIF) added a new chapter and inaugurated the Honda Samajik Vikas Kendra at Naurangpur, Haryana today.

The inauguration took place in the august presence of Mr. Atsushi Ogata – Chairman, Honda India Foundation and Mr. Takuya Tsumura, Co - Chairman, Honda India Foundation along with other dignitaries. Also, on this auspicious day Honda India Foundation also launched its official website along with the inauguration of healthcare training and employment centres in reputed hospitals across 20 locations pan India.

The center, built over an area of 1.5 lakh sq ft, highlights Honda’s commitment to enriching the life of communities through the following services - skill training, sports training, self-help group, primary healthcare, and yoga. The skill center will be giving trainings of Assistant Beauty Therapist, Retail Sales Associate, General Duty Assistant, Warehouse Associate, Automotive Sales Assistant and Self-Employed Tailor. The sports center will be equipped with 2 badminton courts, table tennis table and a boxing ring.

Our aim is to create healthy and happy lives by strengthening them with skills, better health, and confidence to explore their full potential. Being dedicated to our community marks yet another step towards transforming lives of community through better medical facilities, job oriented vocational courses and better sports & yoga facilities. This multi skilling center at Naurangpur will bring people one step closer to their dreams and aspirations.”

Components of Centre:

1.Healthcare Centre/ Hospital – Doctors, Nurses, Pathology lab collection Centre, 30 bed day care facility

2.Skill Centre- The Honda Samajik Vikas Kendra will provide job oriented vocational courses - i) Beauty & wellness, ii) Retail Sales, iii) General Duty Assistant, iv) Logistics v) Automotive, vi) Apparels and Textiles, vii) Digital room viii) Road Safety Training Room & ix) Self-help group on sanitary pad making.

3.Sports Centre - Badminton, Boxing, Table Tennis- experienced coaches- will be participating on district, state, and national level.

4.Yoga Centre- Yoga and naturopathy facilities by professional yoga instructors will be provided at the centre. All the facilities will be combined with PMKVY and National Health Mission.
