HT Media names new Business Head for Hindi & Mint

Vivek Khanna, who very successfully spearheaded the Mint and ‘Ad for Equity’ businesses for the past few years, will now take on the leadership role of Head – Hindi Business. Under his leadership Mint expanded both in India and most recently into South East Asia, with launch Mint Asia launch in Singapore. Vivek is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and prior to joining HT Media has spent over 11 years in Hindustan Unilever and subsequently as Director Marketing with the Insurance Multinational, Aviva.

HT Media Ltd. also welcomes K. Venkataramani as the new Business Head of Mint. He joins HTML from Bharti Walmart, where he was Vice President Hardlines and Home Entertainment and was responsible for the topline and profits from several lines of business of the company like Consumer Durables, IT Products and Automobile Accessories. Mr. Venkataramani completed his Business School from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. Earlier in his career he spent many years with Hindustan Unilever and subsequently worked with Levis Strauss and Madura Garments.

Vivek Khanna will be reporting to Mr. Benoy Roychowdhury, Executive Director, HT Media Ltd. and Mr. Venkataramani will be reporting to Mr. Rajiv Verma, CEO, HT Media Ltd. Mr. Verma welcomes them both in their new roles at HT Media Ltd.
