Hussain Kuwajerwala returns as Indian Idol Season 14 host after 8 years

Renowned actor Hussain Kuwajerwala, better known as Sumit Wadhwa from the popular show Kumkum, is all set to be back on the sets of ‘Indian Idol Season 14’ as its host, which is starting from 7th October on Sony.

Hussain will be back after a long gap of 8 years as the host of Indian Idol, the much-loved singing reality show which has introduced many fresh voices to the Indian music industry. He has been the most popular host of Indian Idol. Whether it is his good looks, his popularity among the contestants and judges, or his engagement with the audience, he has always attracted audience towards him.

Hussain has a childlike innocence, coupled with a commanding presence which makes him a confident host. Hussain also shared his enthusiasm, saying that he is thrilled to back on the sets after 8 years. His primary job will be to make the contestants comfortable. He also shared that, being a good host is not only doing all the announcements but interacting with the judges, audiences and special guests as well.
Let’s see how much love and appreciation, Hussain will receive this time on the show. However, getting him back as a host is a great decision, taken by Sony.
