I am sexy when I am me, says Flying Machine

The leading apparel brand Flying Machine has launched a new ad campaign. The creative line being - "I'm sexy when I'm me".

The creative ad campaign has been created by Lowe Lintas Bengaluru. In a set of three TVCs the brand tries to relate itself to the thought of individuality. The TVCs try to convey that being ones ownself and being recognised for being real is the only thing that stands out about a person.

The campaign strategy was to turn the relative weakness of being used on occasions into the brand's advantage over other players. The new campaign tries to focus on the fact that during those very occasions, it's "the individual that matters".

Thus, the resultant proposition was "at your best being just you" and this was creatively expressed as "I'm sexy when I'm me".

Talking to Adgully, Alok Dubey, Vice President and Business Head, Flying Machine, says, "The idea was to identify the brand with a "be yourself" attitude. The campaign displays youngsters doing what they are best at. We wanted to spread the thought that people are known for what they are and not for what they wear."

The campaign's core TG is consumers belonging to the age group of 18-22 years. The camapaign's creative idea is being brought alive through print, outdoor and television apart from instore and digital.
